Our nationally famous curriculum and student materials have been helping schools and employers train certified pharmacy technician, nursing, and allied health professional students since 1999.
PharmacyTrainerTM is the parent of our company triad:
- PharmacyTrainer, Inc – authors and publishes our curriculum and student materials
- Pharmacy Curriculum Consultants, LLC – licenses our curriculum to other schools
- PharmacyTrainer Schools, LLC – uses our curriculum in our own class locations
Our Author and President
The president of our companies, and the author of our curriculum and materials, is a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of experience in both retail and hospital practice environments.
His retail experience includes settings that include: neighborhood chains, supermarkets, independent, and super stores. Management positions include pharmacy manager and district pharmacy manager in one of the nation’s largest pharmacy retailers.
His hospital experience was obtained at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics where he started as a full-time pharmacy technician during pharmacy school.
He has been a technician educator since 1999 under the PharmacyTrainer banner starting with live local classes. Shortly thereafter, he authored the nationally famous PTCB interactive CDROM, PTCB exam review textbook and workbook, and online test preparation. During this time, PharmacyTrainer Schools was created to bring live classes to the states of Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Virginia, and Florida.
After numerous requests from private vocational institutions and colleges, Pharmacy Curriculum Consultants was formed to provide other schools the opportunity to license our curriculum. It is now being used by colleges, vocational institutes, workforce agencies, and employers.
We also provide our student materials to organizations in pharmacy, nursing, and allied health professions who prefer to use their own curriculum.
